After years of leading the "Knowing Retreat Workshop" the women participants decided to honor the exceptional experience by putting together their reflections of the retreat in book form. "The Circle of Women: A Knowing Retreat" was designed and created.
In 2018, Carol received the "Empowerment Champion Award" from the Santa Clara County Commission on the Status of Women.

She holds a Masters in Education in Counseling, is a Certified Hypnotherapist, and a Certified Retirement Coach.
